Created by German social promotion entity Siemens Stiftung, Program Experimento is based on scientific research. It proposes activities to be carried out using simple items, such as string, light bulbs, batteries and wire, suggesting real propositions that students carry out by combining these simple and easily-replaceable elements.

To further encourage scientific research among Brazilian students, Fundação Siemens implemented the Experimento Program in Brazil. The initiative develops public-school teachers to apply scientific thinking on Elementary and Middle School students.
